About Me

I am an integrative social work practitioner, clinical somatic educator & therapist, and non-profit leader with 25+ years of service. My work lives at the intersection of leadership, healing, and community care. I support leaders who are navigating complexity, responsibility, and change - and who are longing for more groundedness, rest, and connection in how they lead.

I believe the body remembers - not only what has been endured, but also what is possible.

My ethos is rooted in somatic healing, transformative justice, and creative inquiry; shaped by years of organizing, communal care, and executive leadership. I bring a steady, relational presence and a deep capacity for noticing what - and who - may be missing in a space. I am often described as a leader’s leader; however, I understand leadership as a shared, embodied practice rather than a role or title.

I lead with grounded presence, strategic clarity, and a visionary approach to systems change.

Across my career, I’ve held numerous leadership roles, most recently serving as an executive director of a nonprofit in Ohio. During that time, I guided my organization and community through COVID, unionizing, and a hostile socio-political climate while strengthening sustainability and quadrupling the organization’s budget. I also navigated days, weeks, and sometimes months of uncertainty, heartbreak, and difficult decisions.

We don’t have to do our work at the cost of rest and ease.

At Selah. Somatic Therapy & Yoga, I support leaders in slowing down, listening to their bodies, and reconnecting with the wisdom that often gets lost in chronic urgency, burnout, and survival-mode leadership. Rather than fixing, we restore connection - allowing the body to soften, settle, and rebuild capacity at its own pace. The work is collaborative and led through listening to the body as a source of wisdom and resilience. Healing unfolds not through urgency, but through space, trust, and being met.

Selah is a place for pause. This your invitation to lead from a place of rest.

*My approach is intuitive, grounded, and unique. In addition to somatic education and therapy, my practice is informed by the frameworks of yin and restorative yoga, polarity therapy, transformative justice, and evidence-based therapeutic models of systems, eclectic, DBT, feminist, and trauma-focused therapies. Offerings may include integrative approaches such as intuitive readings, somatic body and breathwork, supportive counseling, and additional practices that support rest and thriving.

Complimentary tools such as oracle and tarot cards; essential oils, crystals, stones, astrology; and/or expressive arts may be utilized at the client’s request and consent.

“Did you know that birds do not land because they are tired? It is remembrance. They know and have always known that their liberation depends on their ability to recall the ground.”
